Since 1985, Great Imaginings, Inc.-a tax-exempt, not-for-profit educational corporation- has served children and families by

promoting positive self-image, the development of character and values, and techniques for healthy living
empowering students, parents, teachers and other adults with information, awareness, and strategies to solve personal problems, and to resolve and/or mediate conflicts in the family, among friends, in school, in the workplace, and in the community
encouraging literacy, communication skills, and creative expression through the arts

Founder and Executive Director of Great Imaginings, Inc., Dr. Elana Ashley has developed and presented a broad array of programs which have been presented in the Chicago metropolitan area, as well as throughout the United States.

Programs are presented in schools, libraries, park districts, hospitals, other community organizations, and on radio and television. Great Imaginings, Inc. offers performances and workshops for children, parents, teachers and families; program series; assemblies; and educational consulting.

Great Imaginings, Inc. provides children and adults with the tools and strategies they need to achieve their goals and the inspiration to imagine and pursue their dreams.

Elana Ashley, Ph.D., The Workplace Doctor, gets to the Heart of Your Personal Success, Your Family's Success, Your School's Success, and Your Workplace Success through workshops which focus on managing conflict, stress reduction techniques and strategies for building positive self-esteem.

Working with students and teachers, family members, and employers and employees, Dr. Elana Ashley presents an intensive, interacitve workshop in which participants are encouraged to brainstorm ideas, ask questions, suggest answers, offer examples, and discuss and role play conflicting issues. After outlining the step-by-step process of resolving-mediating conflicts and the methods followed during the process, Ashley helps participants to implement the step-by-step process and shows how to effectively make it work.
